Villa Himalaya is ensconced in natural and lush green surroundings of village Hartola in Nainital district. Although hardly any history is available in its name, elders narrate that Hartola is derived from ‘Hari Ki Tula’ the God’s weighing balance (हरि की तुला). This fits in aptly as serenity and sense of peace infuses us with spiritual feelings. Added to that is the emotional catharsis that is generated by witnessing mighty Himalayas, clearly visible on a good day between October – March. Soulful, experiential stay at Villa Himalayas can be further enhanced by visiting over three hundred years old Mahadev temple (just few meters ahead) and a Devi temple perched atop the hill opposite Villa Himalaya. More adventure seekers can undertake a slightly challenging trek down the valley in front and climb upto the main road, testing their endurance. Our trained Chef will cater to your culinary buds by a wide variety of ala carte, fixed menu as well as authentic Pahadi food made of locally sourced organic material.
